Thanks to John Thielmann who sent us these photos of the gravestones of his ancestors. Johann Thielmann is John's great great greatgrandfather, and Joseph is Johann's brother.
These gravestones are at St. Hubert's Cemetery, Hubertus, WI. This is in southern Washington County, on Hubertus Road, west of Wis Hwy 175 (north of Menomonee Falls).
Johann Thielmann (Spelled JOHN TILLMAN in the Roster of Wisconsin Volunteers) served with the 6th Regiment, Company K, Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry
Joseph served with the 60th IL Infantry, Co. F. He is listed in the Illinois Roster as Tillman, or Gilman, or Fileman. |
